qEEG brain mapping. A functional image of your brain.
19-channel EEG at rest and under load, evaluated against an international normative database. Not a still image of anatomy, but a map of function: where your brain is over-activated, where it sleeps, where networks fail to cooperate.
What is measured
Spectral and connectivity analysis across the main brain regions, compared with age- and sex-normed reference values (Z-score mapping). Eyes open, eyes closed, under cognitive task. The result shows functional patterns a structural image like MRI does not capture.
The process
60 to 90 minutes of recording, bloodless and painless. Findings after seven days, then a 90-minute consultation with Dr. Wyss that places the patterns into your biography and your complaints and derives concrete therapy options.
What does a qEEG give me beyond the feeling that something is off?
It makes the feeling verifiable. Attention, sleep, anxiety and exhaustion leave patterns in the EEG. Seeing these patterns allows targeted rather than guessed intervention.
Is this a medical diagnosis?
qEEG is a functional profile, not a standalone clinical diagnosis. Where a neurological condition is suspected, we refer for specialist assessment.
Can you train with the results?
Yes. Based on the profile, neurofeedback, sleep and stress interventions can be steered precisely. A re-qEEG shows the change.
Does this sound like your path?
Every method begins with a conversation. No treatment without findings, no recommendation without indication.
